Hello, You're not wrong in anysense, I actually agree with you, soldier & knight are classes that depends on casting rather than autos like slayer etc. what i wonder is will you be capable to figure out ink file related bugs quick enough before people took advantage of them. i don't care will server be p2w/cashgrab or not i do not have time to start over in every oncoming and ongoing server. how ever, i have seen projects failing who took advice from people seeking options to make it inadequately easier such as giving them octopus buff that was permanent and had great hp regeneration. some others might say my advice and taking them will kill the server so it's rather not to. i don't care much what people will say about this POV of mine-i want play the game that works normally to the point i know, rather than some abomination of modern epics used for a "downgrade" and claiming it perfectly resembles an old school server which is not-actually it's much quicker than a higher rate'ish old school server(could be called synthetic grinding simulator). *** you dont have to read this but i sure am you had noticed that it's better off to nerf octopus buff and craftable consumables to make people play more strategically unless you're aiming for specific custom content equipment after all. ***According to these objections, have you considered puting a heavy nerf on things such as octopus buff(let's say let people have 1hour buff-but nerf the hp regeneration to the point where they will be forced to team up or use blue pixie in order to survive), which is not favorable for specific group of people always asking octopus buff be overpowered and literally broken. Have you considered the fact that attack speed plateau's beeing in 9.5.2 rather than 7.2-9.1/e6 will affect how entirely tab f1 freak show will perform which will be at a potentially higher level so as the craftable consumables=potions gives much more atk, cast speed patk matk etc. ***furthermore, explaining why i used these terms is that both knight and soldier's actual damage rotation is related to the damage per second back to e5-7.2/8.1 rather than high strike damage of a single skill which is quite common in 9.4 and above epics for their master class predescessors. RNG-random number generator(this decides a chance of how high short term damage output can go literally from skills used, but due to the issue of animation times-the RNG will be affected alot and DPS dipped down by alot aswell). To explain what DPS means is: damage per second ***the skills are crazy slow, yet 2handed mace uses sword skills for soldier class means this was just the most obvious solution of class DPS/RNG limitations. the animation delay of knight/soldier skills more resembles 9.1 client with a hybrid 9.4-9.5.2 source code rather than 9.1: 1.watched the deva race classes changes video, and it do not resemble 7.2 anywhere to me.
